RICHIE ELSON
Richie Elson is an independent filmmaker known for such credits as Rusalka (2014) and Bad Jew (2015). Richie's films have been official selections in the Pasadena International Film Festival, Sedona International Film Festival and Palm Beach International Film Festival. A native of Upstate New York, Richie has been in the film industry over a decade, working on numerous big budget feature films (Piranha 3D, Iron Man 2, Live Free or Die Hard, The Number 23) as well as popular network shows (Castle, Heroes). The Clinton Correctional prison break took place near Richie’s hometown and his father is a former employee of the prison. Richie feels that it is important to tell this story and advocate for the truth in hopes of affecting positive reform in the prison system.
