As a former legal journalist and longtime enthusiast of true crime, Lisa Kestenbaum enjoys employing her research and investigative reporting skills to uncover the truth and set the record straight. Lisa visited Dannemora for the first time in 2016 and became fascinated by the people of the North Country, the unique culture of community there and of course, the culture of Corrections. As a first time filmmaker/producer, she’s approached this film with unbridled enthusiasm in pursuit of the truth.
